TECHNICAL MACHINES FEATURES
Βuilt with a robust and compact structure supporting the axes linear guides.This solution minimizes thermal deformation allowing maximum accuracy to the Master Chuck that clamps and moves the tube, making the axes positioning extremely dynamic and precise
The Brushless motors of X-Y-C axis are equipped with reduced backlash gears and absolute Encoders for the best positioning accuracy and repeatability (allowing also to remind the axes position even after turning off the machine)
The strong steel structure and the electro-welded bridge allow the installation of many complementary accessories, even heavy and requiring particular operating care, maintaining extreme accuracy, especially when executing precision round holes and slots
All Plasmatube models are equipped with spindles with automatic double-action clamping and opening, offering the big advantage of easy adapting to profiles rectangular, square and round shaped. All spindles are CNC-controlled, motorized and run on dual side Gantry guides for perfect alignment and precise handling of pipes even 12m length. All spindles can be equipped with special clamps for different types of profiles.
Excellent axis dynamics and accurate and optimal management of the motor ramps, working speed and axes speed up and slowdown
Rotating Chuck type Unit, with four (4) roller jaws, capable of clamping, rotating and moving the profile. The Spindle rotation automatically synchronized with X and Y axes, is controlled by the CNC and programmed by an evolved software containing parametric figures.
Working Profiles are sustained along their length by one or more automatic or manual adjusting supports
PLASMA CUTTING HEAD
Bevel 5-Axis 3D Plasma Cutting Head is designed and built by Becky to offer maximum strength, smaller footprint, reduced weight, complete protection of handling parts and for maximum operational flexibility allowing ± 45 ° cutting inclinations and infinite rotation
The same automatic torch height adjustment system with anti-collision used for the perpendicular cutting head guarantees precision and operational safety.
The numerically controlled automatic cutting parameters referring to the type and thickness of the material to be cut, also include for the 3D head the slowdowns, accelerations and particular trajectories that the three-dimensional cut imposes to obtain precise cuts.
Precise automatic torch height control with arc voltage reading and adjustable sensitivity anti-collision device for high quality plasma.
DRILLING UNIT
Powerful Brushless motor for tool rotation and feed, automatic working parameters selected by CNC
This head can process Drilling (max. 20 mm), Tapping (max. M16), and Countersinking
It is equipped with Tool Lubrication System
Automatic Tool Change System, with a 6-positions tools storage
HANDLING / LOADING / UNLOADING DEVICES
Plasmatube models are standard equipped with 2 or 4 automatic vertical supports to facilitate the loading of working pipes. These fast positioning devices, powered by Brushless motors, are CNC controlled, with dedicated data base stored in the Control Panel related to the pipe or profile shape and dimensions. The supports also have the function to drive the pipes to the insertion in the spindles and to reduce their flection during the cut.
It is further standard proposed the tilting table to unload the cut pipes, controlled by the CNC, which can be activated during working operation.
More automatic tube loading devices from single pipe or bundling are available on request up to maximum 10 units
FUME EXHAUST/CLEANING SYSTEM
The smoke extraction during the pipe cutting is carried out through the middle of the Spindle by metal flange and hose connected to the Filter.
Master spindle is provided with suction device
from the pipe center allowing smoke and dust extraction from inside.
The Slave spindle is equipped with a dust and scrap collection drawer, interchangeable support bars, inspectable window and central fume extraction.
Excess fumes are conveyed pneumatically to a fume hood which further improves the cleanliness of the working environment.
NUMERIC CONTROL
The Numeric Control standard equipping the Raptor model is specifically developed for thermal cutting technologies and accessories, works on industrial PC with Windows Embedded operating system.
The wide 15” TFT LCD “touch screen“ shows the working parameters allowing to edit and modify them also during the working process.
The complete library of automatic working parameters related to type and material thickness allows the best cutting quality granted by technology FINE-HOLE, developed from Becky, specially required for precision round holes and slots.
The highly automated CNC, provided with complete library of working parameters and clear interactive graphics screen allows friendly use for beginners and reassuring aid to trained users.
PROGRAMMING SOFTWARE
BECKY cutting machines are equipped with
advanced Drawing and Nesting program provided
of calculation algorithms dedicated to each of the working technologies installed.
The programming software is equipped with a CAD module to design the cutting profiles and allowing
to import files from other 3D software in format
STEP and IGES.
The intuitive icons graphic interface makes cutting operations easy and accurate. The powerful algorithm for the best Nesting calculation allows to minimize the scrap.
SLS is an advanced Laser Scanner device protecting
the working surface to safeguard the operating personnel, proposed as standard equipment on all Plasmatube models
and operating on two progressive steps.
The first step alerts with sound and bright light the approach
to the warning zone and the second step stops the machine in emergency if approaching
the forbidden zone.
Both protection steps are programmable and customized during the machine installation within the prescribed limits
by the CE safety norms.
A key selector on the Control Panel combined with a speed regulator allows to set the machine in Service modality
for maintenance or to remove manually the unprocessed pipes.
