TIPO G System is the most innovative solution for the fabrication of plates : a flexible CNC center suitable to combine the advantages of fixed plate solution with the ones of the mobile plate solution, enhancing therefore the quality of both.
These models can perform drilling, boring, milling, tapping and thermal cutting and bevelling with OXY and plasma of large plates.
The ability to start with row material and end with the finished part of unprecedented accuracy including diverse kind of processing is what makes the TIPO G truly unique.
TECHNICAL MACHINE FEATURES
Infeed and Outfeed rollerways, that can be extended in order to fit the required plate length and are pre-arranged to receive Cross Transfer Tables (Loading / Unloading)
Thanks to the lateral grippers , the plate handling is much easier and the mobile structure is extremely solid operating as a shuttle moving the material along fixed rails and taking advantage of pincher repositioning. The whole system is adjustable to material's dimensions and thickness
The machine can be equipped with one (1) or two (2) OXY cutting torches
The brand new HYPERTHERM XPR 300 or HPR 400 XD power source can supply one (1) or two (2) High Definition plasma torches for straight and bevel cut, to satisfy all cutting requirements in accuracy, quality and speed
Patented Plasma Bevel Head, capable of bevel cutting and welding preparation of final pieces
TIPO G series are equipped with a high speed drilling spindle allowing extremely productive drilling of holes up to 60 mm of diameter. For larger holes up to 400 mm the machine can mill holes with exceptional accuracy on diameter and concentricity. The Drilling Unit can be supplied with Automatic Tool Change System having 24 positions for tools and managed by the CNC, performing tapping, milling, boring and scribing operations as well
The system can be equipped with an additional drilling spindle with relevant 24 positions tool changer to increase the productivity
The two (2) drilling heads can move independently and carry out different processes simultaneously. This fact makes TIPO G the best solution to reduce the cost of final product and to increase dramatically the productivity
In correspondence to each drilling unit, the machine base holds a shuttle used as counter-base for drilling operations, moving simultaneously with the drill head itself
MARKING and SCRIBING operations are available for identification marks or part numbers, fabrication and bending lines, center location for positioning and welding, deeper marking viewable after painting / galvanizing
Auxiliary axis to allow all operations within the axis' working area to be carried out without moving the plate which makes the machine extremely fast
Dedicated Software upgrades allow special milling operations such as straight slots, special curved slots, countersinking with milling tool, "Y" and "J" calking and other special cycles
A special tilting device (trap door) can be supplied to unload finished parts with maximum size 500x500 mm
The Exhaust System filters the fume generated by thermal cutting operations. The air is cleaned according to the latest Health and Safety requirements.
