The "P" Lines series includes automatic punching and drilling lines for plates up to 80 mm thick.
These compact lines are made of a sturdy C-Frame which guarantees processing accuracy and long term reliability.
The punching line model can also perform drilling and marking operations. The high speed drilling line model instead can also mark, tap and scribe the plate for welding layout marking.
BASIC MACHINE TECHNICAL FEATURES
The one-piece steel frame contains the electric and pneumatic system, the hydraulic power pack and the CNC Control unit
A roller balls coordinate table is supporting the workpiece during processing offering easy repositioning
Hydraulically controlled pinchers guarantee strong material clamping. The carriage moves thanks to ball screw drives allowing plate repositioning
The "P" lines are equipped with three (3) selectable punches having full force on the entire force
A Self-adjustable clamping system keeps the plate in position avoiding stripping during punching
A max 19 KW drilling head is available on the punching lines.
The plate drilling line is supplied with a Direct-Drive High-Speed 27 KW drill head with 8 positions Automatic Tool Changer
Marking of parts is possible with marking tools mounted in place of the one of the three punches or with rotating disc type marking unit for the plate drilling model
RE-POSITIONING OPERATION
The "P" series Lines can process material with no-limitations in the length since they can execute the re-positioning operation, which contains the following steps :
- Processing of the plate in its first one meter length area
- Vertical pressure device coming down clamping the material
- Automatic opening of the pinchers and longitudinal movement of them to the next one meter length area of the piece
- Automatic closing of the pinchers to its new position and the vertical pressure device is going up
- Processing of the piece in the new one meter length area
- Repetition of the cycle
(The re-positioning operation, is limited only by the weight of the piece since this must be according to the maximum weight that the pinchers can move)
