The GEMINI series Lines are Heavy Duty Gantry style Multi-Process Systems engineered for steel fabricators and manufacturers of all sizes.

This Line handles from light to heavy plates of all kind of materials (HARDOX included) and integrates all the thermal cutting, drilling, tapping, milling, beveling, marking/scribing and more processes into one single operation. Its unprecedented productivity and accuracy achieves the lowest part cost due to its minimal floor space, low capital investment and productivity.

KRONOS can be combined with another GEMINI or with the KRONOS machine in a row. As a result, a Multi-Tasking Center for Cutting-Drilling-Marking is created, with two (2) bridges/gantry type carrying all processing heads, moving on common rails system and having a unique common cutting table with very big length (tandem system)

BASIC MACHINE FEATURES

Cutting Bench made of a sturdy grid suitable to guarantee the stable positioning of the plate during processing. The bench is pre-arranged to receive the Fume Exhaust and Filtering System.

Multiple integrated plate clamps rapidly adjust to the plate thickness to reduce the clamping cycle. The clamps rigidly secure the plate to the material bed to eliminate vibration and extend tool life even during aggressive machining

Precision Laser for plate referencing that automatically rotates the plate nesting program to eliminate the need to square plates prior to processing

GEMINI series can be equipped with up to three (3) OXY cutting torches to cover all manufacturing needs

Possibility of bevel OXY cutting (Triplex OXY Head)

One or two High-Definition plasma torches for straight or bevel cut,  from HYPERTHERM  brand new XPR 300 to HPR 400 XD. HYPERTHERM True Hole Technology is available on this model and as a result the machine  can really satisfy all cutting requirements.

GEMINI series have the possibility to be equipped with a high speed drilling unit allowing extremely productive drilling of holes from  5 mm  to  80 mm. For larger holes up to  400 mm  the GEMINI can mill holes with exceptional accuracy on diameter and concentricity. Automatic Tool Change Systems having  8 , 16  or  24 positions, managed by the CNC, allow to equip the Line  with all the necessary tools

SCRIBING operations are available for identification marks or part numbers, fabrication and bending lines, center location for positioning and welding, deeper marking viewable after painting / galvanizing

Integrated Chips Removal System, which are generated during drilling and special milling operations installed on one or even on both sides of the cutting bench 

Dedicated Software upgrades allow special milling operations such as straight slots, special curved slots, countersinking with milling tool, Y or J calking and other special cycles

The Exhaust System filters the fume generated by thermal cutting operations. The air is cleaned according to the latest Health and Safety requirements.
