FLEX is the latest technology in automatic CNC controlled thermal coping for beams, pipes and profiles. It can be combined with a Drilling unit. This brand new model from FICEP is capable of processing steel profiles at top speeds and at the highest quality standards. Plasma and Oxy units can be used only on this line and, due to its innovative design, this model is the bench mark in thermal coping technology.

BASIC FEATURES

A robust pincher is used to clamp the material and to push it forward for processing.

The unique torch is the latest patented technology in thermal coping robots. It's special wrist has been designed to process profiles on all four sides with both Oxy fuel and plasma.

Automatic clamping devices guarantee perfect position of profile.

The New Laser Scanner Technology is used to probe the profiles geometry. This enables fast recognition of the parts.

A brand new technology allows the machine to automatically switch between plasma and Oxy at a never reached before speed.

The exhaust system filters the fume generated by thermal cutting operations. The air is cleaned according to the latest health and safety requirements.

This machine is equipped with a CNC library which allows to program the coping shapes required during the processing.

Graphical 3D simulator shows the virtual process to be managed.

HYPERTHERM "True Hole" Technology is available on this model.  

When combined with Drilling unit, there is no need to add a further CNC unit as the entire system is controlled by a single CNC.

The machine is supplied in accordance with the highest safety standards and regulations.
